Flowers
December 20, 2009
Flowers are one of the most important parts of your wedding. They can certainly make your wedding dress stand out and bring the reception area together. As far as flowers goes silk flowers are starting to become more popular. Yes, I said silk. A lot of people think that they must have real flowers for their wedding but that’s not true. Now, if you want real flowers than I say real flowers is what you should have. But, if you look at silk flowers these days you wouldn’t even be able to tell that they are silk. Okay, well that all depends on where you go, yes that’s true. but, you can do a magnificent job with silk flowers and when you are on a budget silk flowers is a very good way to go. Some awesome places to find silk flowers are. Hobby Lobby, Michael’s and Travis Wholesale just to mention a few.
Wedding Planners
December 20, 2009
What can I say about wedding planners? After all I am one but what most people don’t know about wedding planners is that they’re more than just a professional planner. They don’t just come in and take over and that’s it. They’re sometimes a referee, a counselor, a tie breaker but most of all a friend. When you’re helping someone for close to a year or usaually more you can’t help but become friends. During the process of planning a wedding it can become emotional, confusing and down right stressful. As a wedding planner it’s up to us to make things as easy, fun and most of all as stress free as possible for you. Most people need someone to come in and get everything done that they (meaning the bride and groom) want done because they are too busy to do it or just need that extra helping hand with desicions and such. Yes, you do get those wedding planners that like to do things their way and get you to do what they want but hey who’s wedding is it really, right? This is your time, your event and will be your day to remember. You need someone on your side who is gonna help you do what you want. Anyway, what is comes down to is that a wedding planner is someone that you can always look to when planning your wedding and someone that you can rely on in your time of need, after all this is possibly the most important event that you will ever plan.

Quinceanera and Sweet 16
December 9, 2009
For all you young ladies planning a Quinceanera or a sweet 16, the same applies to you as far as colors goes for brides. You can use any color that you are wanting and your dress does not have to be white or pink, unless of course that’s the color of your choice. There are dresses of all colors and styles. Whether its black and white you want or green and white, there’s a dress and theme of your choice out there for everyone.
Princess Theme
December 8, 2009
The Princess Theme is one of my favorites. A lot of people think that you have to use pink in a Princess Theme and that is soooo not the case. You can easily take your favorite color and use it for this particular theme. If blue is your favorite color then go with it or if yellow is your favorite color then that’s what you should use. Heck, if green is your color then I say go with that. Of course the color you choose won’t be the only color you’ll be using but it’ll be your main one on y our color scheme. Yes you do have to and should have other colors to balance things out. But your favorite color will be your main color. You’ll be amazed at what you can do for your Princess Themed wedding. This is your wedding and you should have it the way you want it. Weddings these days are not what they use to be. So, you can change it up just how you would like it and I say don’t let anyone tell you different. The possibilities are endless.
